Providence Health & Services Echo Vascular Technologist in Colville, Washington
Providence is calling a Echo Vascular Technologist ( Cardiology Services , Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Mount Carmel Hospital in Colville, Washington. The schedule will be 800-1630 Monday through Friday.
In this position, you will:
Perform preliminary interpretation.
Posses educational background and/or experience and demonstrates knowledge and skill in the assessment and treatment of patients from infancy (birth to one year) to he elderly (80 and older)
Perform daily PVM of CVS defibrillator.
Study patient's requisition form to obtain vital information needed prior to the test, i.e., past heart disorders or special medication the patient has received.
Perform vascular diagnostics to include:
Venous Duplex - including upper and lower extremities
Lower Extremity Arterial Duplex
Upper Extremity Arterial including Thoracic Outlet Syndrome
Abdominal Duplex including Abdominal Aorta, Superior Mesenteric Artery, and Renal Artery
Perform Echocardiography to include:
Cardiac Doppler - c.w., p.w., and color flow
Dobutamine Stress Echo
Knowledge of all phases of echocardiography
Perform Tilt Table exam
Explain purpose and procedure of tests and equipment to the patient
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate from a cardiovascular program
Must maintain certification in RCS (RDCS) or RVS (RVT). (Newly hired personnel who are not certified in both echo and vascular shall actively pursue certification)
Must have current Healthcare Provider CPR card or obtain one within 3 months of employment
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 1 year clinical experience in echocardiography
